From Tom:

“Here is my client using Glushu glue on horseshoes. When the horse arrived at the shop it was lame on the front left with some temperature on the hoof. After checking the pressure sensitivity with the hooftester, she was positive on the inner bar. I started looking for an abscess which i found pretty soon. It seemed to go down deep so we decided it would be best to do an x-ray of the hoof.

I had already made the decision to put on a lid on the shoe to protect and treat the abscess. However, I was pretty surprised to find out that she did not just have an abscess, she was foundered too.

This changed the whole situation and i needed to adapt my plan. I needed to lower the pressure on the toe and make sure that she has a smooth break over also took care about the DDFT so we don’t have any pressure there as well.

I came up with the idea of putting on a rocked Glushu with an integrated aluminium lid, so all of the important aspects were covered.

It has worked out great - Thanks Glushu.”
