“A little update on Candy, my sweetest little Shetland mare client. She suffers from founders, after several laminitis attacks. Several veterinarians have tried to figure out what causes the attacks, but no reasonable cause is actually detected.

My job in this case, is to make her as comfortable as possible during the healing process.

The first two pictures are from yesterday, and shoeing with GluShu , mini 75. The third picture is from the healing process. It’s been a battle to get where she is today, and the owner has really done her part in keeping the diet strict, balancing the medication, and giving the right amount of exercise.

GluShu was a game changer in the first period of the healing process. When the horse was comfortable enough, we continued with a barefoot strategy, and yesterday she was ready for another round with GluShu Mini. She is close to be fully recovered.
